Frequently Asked Questions
How fast can D Volt Co. deliver?
Lead time is one of our biggest advantages. We can complete production in as little as 8 weeks because our professional team sources every necessary component for our products. For context, industry surveys in 2025-2026 put standard power transformer lead times around 128 weeks (roughly 2.5 years) and distribution transformers at 30-50 weeks, so our timeline is significantly shorter than the current market norm.
Why are transformer lead times so long across the industry right now?
Demand has surged across multiple sectors at once: AI data center construction, industrial electrification, renewable energy interconnections, and grid modernization. At the same time, raw materials like grain-oriented electrical steel and copper have been in tight supply. The result is that equipment availability, rather than capital or permitting, has become the main constraint on many projects. Our sourcing network and in-house production are built specifically to shorten that wait.
How do I request a quote?
Reach out through our Contact Us page (d-volt.co/contact-us), call 800-720-5133, or email info@d-volt.co. To speed things up, include your product type, kVA rating, voltage class, configuration, quantity, and target delivery date. The more detail you provide, the faster we can return an accurate quote.
What information do you need to start an order?
Helpful details include the application (utility, data center, renewable, industrial), product type, kVA rating, primary and secondary voltages, phase configuration, enclosure or mounting type, any applicable standards, quantity, and your required in-service date. If you are unsure of any specification, our engineering team can help you define it.
Do you ship across all of North America?
Yes. We serve utilities, data centers, renewable energy projects, and industrial clients across North America from our Houston facility.
