Sales Development Representative (SDR)

D-Volt Co. is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team in Houston, TX. In this role, you’ll drive the top of the funnel by identifying and qualifying high-value opportunities in the power infrastructure sector—transformers, pad-mount equipment, switchgear, and on-site power solutions for utilities, EPCs, data centers, and renewables.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively identify and research high-potential targets, including utilities, EPC firms, data center developers, renewable energy projects and industrial clients across assigned U.S. territories.
• Outbound Outreach: Execute outbound campaigns via phone, email and LinkedIn to book qualified meetings and discovery calls for Account Executives and the VP of Sales & Business Development.
• Qualification & Pipeline Building: Qualify inbound and outbound leads by assessing needs, budget, authority and timeline for transformers, pad-mount units, switchgear, bushings, repairs and on-site power solutions.
• Market & Customer Research: Research target accounts, including upcoming projects in LNG, BESS, T&D, data centers and renewables. Maintain accurate records in CRM and share timely intelligence with the sales team.
• Sales Enablement Support: Assist in developing product cheat sheets, proposal templates and presentation materials. Participate in technical training on transformers, electrical equipment applications and competitive differentiators.
• Event & Conference Support: Help support industry events and trade shows, including lead capture, post-event follow-up and coordination with the sales team.
• Relationship Building: Build early relationships with decision-makers and influencers at utilities, EPCs and end users. Represent D Volt Co. professionally as a trusted power infrastructure partner.
• Collaboration & Handoff: Work closely with Account Executives and technical teams to ensure smooth transition of qualified opportunities. Track activity and provide regular pipeline updates.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings and regulatory developments in the electrical and power sector. Provide feedback to improve messaging, tools and sales processes.
Additional Expectations
• Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly KPIs for calls, meetings booked and qualified opportunities generated.
• Travel occasionally for key customer visits, site tours or industry events as needed.

Qualifications
Permanent U.S. work authorization required.
Compensation
Salary: $50,000 USD + commission per year
Base Salary + Competitive Commission, uncapped.
