Cooling Class (ONAN / ONAF / KNAN)

A four-letter code defining how a transformer is cooled. Example: ONAN = natural oil circulation, natural air; ONAF adds fans for a higher rating; KNAN indicates ester fluid. Cooling class determines the nameplate rating(s).
