Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA)

A diagnostic test that measures gases dissolved in transformer oil (hydrogen, methane, acetylene, ethylene, CO, CO2). Gas signatures reveal developing faults like arcing, overheating, and partial discharge, often long before failure. DGA is one of the most widely used and informative transformer health tests.
