Recloser (Auto Recloser)
A self-contained medium-voltage device that interrupts fault current and automatically recloses in a programmed sequence, restoring service after temporary faults (e.g., branches, animals, lightning) that make up most distribution outages. Ratings commonly span 15.5 to 38 kV.
